Paws in the Park 5K Fun Run

The Paws in the Park Fun run is so much more than a simple 5K race. For those of you who enjoy competition, you’ll certainly enjoy the race. The event takes place on Saturday, November 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will be held at John Paul Landing Park located at 24202 West Road, Cypress, TX 77433.

What to See and Do

For the runners amongst us, you’ll definitely want to participate in the races. The races are divided into groups by age, so even your young kids can enjoy the tricycle-thon or simply running the race. For those of you bringing your dog to the event, please only bring pets under 20 lbs.

At the event, you can make a day of it! There will be a bounce house, face painting, a signature speaker, a raffle, and an after-party sponsor bash! In addition to this, there will be pet adoptions available. The goal is to save the life of a pet and have fun doing it! Registration for the event is $65 and you get to enjoy all that the Paws in the Park 5K has to offer. Whether you’re attending with your friends or your family, you’re certain to have a great time watching the races, adopting a pet, or getting a bit of face paint. The Schedule of Events

The schedule for the Paws in the Park 5K Fun Run event is as follows:

  • The 1 Mile Tricycle-Thon for kids ages 3-6 takes place at 9:00 a.m.
  • The 3.12 Mile Youth 5K for kids ages 7-11 takes place at 9:30 a.m.
  • The 3.12 Mile Teen 5K for teens ages 12-17 takes place at 10:00 a.m.
  • The 3.12 Mile Adult 5K for adults ages 17 and older takes place at 10:30 a.m.

The races provide a bit of healthy competition and you’re certain to enjoy the trail along the way!
